RoboServer unveils three-way order system
March 4, 2007
LAS VEGAS — RoboServer Systems Corp. debuted its Line Buster Assisted Server System March 5 at the Las Vegas Nightclub, Restaurant, and Hospitality Expo in Las Vegas.
According to a news release, the LineBuster Assisted Server System is a countertop ordering system with two screens that allows customers to place orders on one screen while restaurant staff reviews orders on a second screen.
Having two screens, RoboServer says, allows restaurans to maintain involvement in the customer-ordering process, while providing customer independence, convenience and speed of self-service ordering.
LineBuster gives customers the option of self-service ordering, assisted ordering or ordering with restaurant staff. This System also allows restaurants to gradually train their customers to use self-service technology on their own.
Industry research suggests self-serve technology can cut customer wait-time by as much as 33 percent.
