LODI, Calif. - Paystar Corp., which has been building its business through mergers and acquisitions this year, reported revenues of $5.3 million in the second quarter, ended June 30, a 167 percent increase compared to the same quarter a year ago, when revenues were $2.0 million.
The $5.3 million was also a big jump from the first quarter, when it had revenues of $3.1 million, according to a Paystar news release.
Most recently, Paystar announced Aug. 6 that it had added 200 kiosks through an agreement with iCatcher Network Inc. of Baltimore. In July, Paystar agreed to add 1,000 public Internet access kiosks operated by E-Kiosk of New Lennox, Ill. to its network using "Gold Sprocket" pay-for-use software.
Paystar operates cashless ATMs, private payphones and Internet kiosks along with several related businesses.
