Revel Systems names first advisory board

Revel Systems, a cloud-based point of sale and complete business management platform, has formed an advisory board composed of tenured experts in the restaurant and hospitality technology industries to guide Revel clients seeking to grow and further develop their businesses, according to a press release.

Revel clients can consult with members of the board whose expertise spans such topics as:

• Franchise planning and best practices.
• Successful scalability and business growth.
• Investing in the right technology for operational success.
• Leveraging data and customer insights to strategically grow business.

The founding members include:

• A. William "Bill" Allen is an investor and strategic advisor with more than 25 years of experience in building restaurant companies for leading brands, such as Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, and OSI Restaurant Partners (currently titled Bloomin' Brands), among others.
• Mike Nettles has spent almost 30 years of his professional career as a technology and digital transformation and worked for several multi-concept global restaurant hospitality brands. He most recently as executive vice president, chief operating and growth officer of Papa John's.
• Steve DeSutter has more than 45 years of transformational engagement in a number of industries, including both franchising and corporate-operated quick service restaurants; convenience retail and more. He has been CEO of Focus Brands for the last six years.
