Outdoor and indoor wayfinding kiosks can provide up-to-date information 24 hours a day to both residents and visitors to retail environments. As such, they have become an integral part of numerous shopping center developments, tourism centers and urban planning projects.
As the "smart cities" movement expands, these wayfinding kiosks have also become a standard feature of public spaces to allow commercial advertising and public service directories. Local governments are embracing such kiosks to better manage public resources and improve public services.
