Retail group signs with Kudos for digital signage

London -- Kudos Digital Group, which produces a software suite for remote management of kiosk and digital-media networks, announced it has won a contract to remotely manage a large network of digital media screens throughout a retail project called the Bullring redevelopment.

The redevelopment project by The Birmingham Alliance will provide Britain with one of its largest shopping destinations.

The retail space includes two flagship department stores, 16 major space units, more than 130 shop units and a variety of leisure facilities, all using the highest standards of security, customer service and state-of-the-art technology.

As part of the technology integrated into the development, plasma screens are being used to replace traditional static signage. The screens will display a wide range of digital media content, such as advertising, promotions, entertainment and Bullring information and branding.

Immedia Systems, a Kudos partner, will be using Kudos' Enterprise suite and new Billboard product to manage and monitor the network, update content instantly and vary content based on location, time of day and customer demographics.
