Restaurant veteran Ray Villaman joins VoicePlug AI board of directors

Ray Villaman, a seasoned restaurateur and technology entrepreneur, has joined the board of directors for VoicePlug AI, a company that provides AI-powered voice ordering solutions for restaurants.
Villaman, who has opened over 150 restaurants and held leadership roles at major brands including California Pizza Kitchen and Boston Market, selected VoicePlug AI for his own company, Tahoe Restaurant Group, after testing multiple solutions.
In his role, he will help guide the company's enterprise growth and strategic partnerships, according to a press release.
"We tested a range of AI solutions in real-world conditions, and VoicePlug AI consistently delivered the best results — fast, accurate, and guest-friendly," Villaman said in the release. "That's why our managers chose it, and why I'm joining to help scale this across the industry."
