Redbox tests kiosks at 7-Eleven

Home Media Magazine: DVD rental kiosk operator redbox has signed a deal with 7-Eleven convenience stores to test its program in several markets nationwide. Installation will continue through 2009, according to a 7-Eleven spokesperson. The rental company, which traditionally has focused on retail and fast food locations, has also begun service at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Nashville International Airport, and Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids, Mich., and at the at convenience chain Maverick in Tennessee, Thorntons in Wisconsin and Maryland-based Royal Farms.
