With more than nine million cases of identity theft each year, Americans are becoming more and more aware of the need to guard personal information. In fact, identity theft now rates as one of the tope two concerns of the general public, along with the cost of health care, according to the Burson-Marsteller Global Issues Index.
Management at the New Frontier Bank, based in Greely, Colo., understands the concern and the growing importance of shredding confidential documents and other materials.
New Frontier realized that its customers needed a convenient, easy to use tool to facilitate shredding all the documents they needed to destroy. The bank also was seeking ways to provide more services to the communities in which it operates while generating opportunities for people to get to know more about the bank.
