CIOL: With a mandate of setting up 5,550 kiosks in Andhra Pradesh under the Rajiv Internet Village project, solution provider Radiant Infosystems launched the pilot project in 27 centers across the state. Rajiv Internet Village is a government initiative to take e-governance to the people. It entails provision of various services like bill payments, certificates, land records, provision of information, etc.
A total of 64 services will be provided through the kiosks. Apart from providing government services, the kiosks also will provide many non-government services, like Western Union transfer, matrimonial services and the sale of Nokia cellphones.
