Pyramid builds new cash acceptor line

OAKWOOD VILLAGE, Ohio - Peripheral manufacturer Pyramid Technologies Inc. has introduced a new line of bill acceptors designed for a variety of uses.

The Apex Series 5000 Bill Acceptors feature standard interfaces and interfaces to personal computers. The acceptors can handle bills up to 72 millimeters in width and can fit into standard platforms such as coin doors.

Company officials said the devices are available both stacked and stackerless designs.
