Pye teams with Shift4 Payments on kiosk payment solution

Pye, a self-serve kiosk manufacturer, has partnered with Shift4 Payments, a payment processor and point-of-sale solutions provider, on a payment solution for self-serve kiosks, according to a press release. This partnership combines Pye's integrated kiosk solutions with Shift4's unified commerce platform to provide a seamless end-to-end payment experience for merchants and their customers.

"The pandemic placed a greater reliance on kiosks as businesses were shut off for months from direct, face-to-face contact with consumers," Jegil Dugger, CEO and founder of Alabama-based startup Pye, said in the press release. "The demand for a contactless, unattended ordering and payment experience will continue to be high, even in a post-COVID environment. We're confident in the ability of our kiosks and, more importantly, in our ability to help our customers and partners thrive."
