Pulsen joins Netkey Reseller program

March 4, 2002

ORLANDO, Fla. - One of Sweden's oldest IT companies, Pulsen, is joining the Netkey Reseller Program and will distribute Netkey software in Nordic countries. Pulsen also will develop self-service applications for Netkey platform clients, according to an announcement made at the KioskCom 2002 Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Fla., today.

The move is Netkey, Inc.'s response to a global need for kiosk software solutions. The number of kiosk users is expected to increase from 34 million in 2001 to 91 million in 2006, according to Jupiter Research. Branford, Conn.-based Netkey is the industry's largest worldwide reseller and developer network for kiosk software solutions, with more than 35 partners covering 44 countries. Netkey's customers include E*Trade, Borders, Fidelity Investments, Ford and Fleet. The company also holds three patents for its self-service technology.

Pulsen, which was IBM's first Scandinavian partner, already has developed several successful applications on the Netkey platform, including a ticketing project for one of Sweden's top entertainment firms, a company spokesperson said.
