PROVISIO opens SiteKiosk office in Florida

MIAMI -- Responding to what it said was the success of its products in North America, German kiosk software developer PROVISIO GmbH recently launched a subsidiary office in Miami.

PROVISIO, which manufactures the Internet kiosk browser software SiteKiosk, said it expects an increase in revenue during the second half of 2002 with the opening of its Miami office and the imminent release of SiteKiosk Version 5.0.

"The establishment of our new branch company in Miami enables us to provide even better support and service to our increasing number of corporate customers in the U.S.," Christoph Niehus, PROVISIO president and co-owner, said in a news release.

PROVISIO has named Heinz Horstmann chief executive officer of its U.S. subsidiary. Horstmann previously was the company's general legal counsel.
