Micro markets offer more product variety than vending machines or other self-serve foodservice formats, which is why they continue to expand at a fast pace in convenience services.

One challenge that continues to undermine the micro-market experience, however, is product shrink.

How can convenience services operators reduce product shrink in this rapidly growing service category?

A panel of veterans will explore what strategies work best to overcome this challenge during the Self-Service Innovation Summit, Dec. 4-6 at the Loews Coral Gables in Florida. The panel session is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
