Private equity firm buys Ice House America water/ice vending provider

Fort Point Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm, has acquired Ice House America LLC, an automated retail ice and water platform in the U.S., from existing investor Ulysses Management LLC, headquartered in Moultrie, Georgia, according to a press release.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

IHA owns and operates a fleet of automated ice and water vending units located primarily across the southern U.S. The company designs, manufactures and sells ice and water vending units to both independent owner-operators and national accounts, and provides maintenance services and software support.
