The Prague Municipal Library has introduced an enclosed, self-service library in Černý Most Centre, the first of its kind, according to a report in themayor.eu.
The self-serve library, with more than 1,000 titles, will be available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, which is longer than other libraries.
Based on a picture, the enclosed, 29-square-meter space is accessed by means of an access controlled door. Once inside, users can leaf through, borrow or return books.
The system uses RFID technology.
