NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Specialty printer manufacturer Practical Automation will introduce a wide-format thermal printer designed specifically for self-service kiosks during Kioskcom 2003 in Las Vegas, April 7-10.
Current applications for the printer include e-ticketing kiosks for airline travel and gift registries for retailers such as Target.
"The new ITK38 printer has been designed to accommodate the needs of the marketplace for a faster, modular and intelligent kiosk printer solution," said Brian Sikorski, sales and marketing manager for Practical Automation. "With over 20,000 unique installations of our ATX38 product, we have captured the unique requirements for an extremely reliable and robust printer and have designed a product to meet and exceed these needs."
