Restaurant point of sale manufacturer ParTech Inc. has announced it has partnered with mobile loyalty company Punchh to integrate its platform for its Brink POS software. This platform will allow restaurants to engage with their customers using their loyalty programs, according to the press release.

The Punchh platform allows restaurants to utilize games, social media and loyalty programs to more deeply engage with their customers. For example, users can refer friends to the restaurant in order to earn loyalty points, according to the release.

"Our collaboration with PAR allows us to deliver a world-class technology solution which will greatly improve the experience for our customers and their guests," said Vic Mahadevan, CEO of Punchh. "We are thrilled to partner with the Industry-leading Brink POS platform from PAR to help drive guest engagement for restaurant operators and more importantly, provide them with the analytical tools and insights they need to grow their business."

The platform is designed with analytical tools to allow companies to keep track of the return of investment from its messages. In addition, restaurants can utilize a referral tracking tool to gain insights into the customers that refer friends to the restaurant.

"Mobile consumer engagement provides new and powerful opportunities for restaurants to grow their businesses. By integrating PAR's Brink POS into a broader ecosystem of mobile products and capabilities from Punchh, we will continue to deliver the most innovative solutions to our customers," said Paul Rubin, vice president of Brink POS at PAR. "We welcome Punchh into our ecosystem community and look forward to a successful partnership that drives value to our customers."
