Port services operator to use kiosks to improve health screening in cruise ships

DeCurtis Corp., a provider of location and proximity enabled solutions in indoor environments with a focus on health, safety and security, has teamed with SMS International Shore Operations, a manager of port experiences and operations for cruise liners, according to a press release.

SMS will operate DeCurtis shield kiosks to automate the health check questionnaire process and provide temperature screening as part of its new health and safety initiative due to COVID-19.

This partnership aims to enhance the health, safety and security at ports worldwide while continuing to deliver value to the cruise lines and guests. DeCurtis Shield focuses on improving indoor environments using patent-pending technology to quickly implement health screenings at any secure entry or exit point.
