Portsmouth, N.H. — NextChoice announced it has installed touchscreen kiosks in the food court at Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Customers at the 400,000-square-foot casino are able to order and pay for meals themselves from three different restaurants in the Food Court using NextChoice's "Smart Self-service" solution.
NextChoice's solution unifies customer ordering and payment with the collection and management of customer-transaction data and preferences into one fully integrated, centralized solution platform one restaurant to thousands of stores.
"Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs has adopted some of the casino industry's most technologically-advanced solutions and used this technology to make our customer's experience more enjoyable," said Bill Candow, vice president of information technology for Mohegan Sun At Pocono Downs. "A self-service solution for our food court restaurants makes it easier and faster for customers to order and pay for their food."
The solution is integrated with the MICROS 9700 HMS point-of-sale software and operates on six Fujitsu U-Serv 100 kiosks. Customers enter their food orders by touching the appropriate item on the kiosk screen. The meal is paid for by a credit or debit card at the kiosk.
