Planar's quarterly results announcement scheduled for Jan.19

Business Wire:Planar Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:PLNR), a leader in flat-panel display systems, is scheduled to announce results of the first quarter of its fiscal 2005 on Jan. 19.

Results of the quarter ended December 31 are scheduled to be disclosed in a press release at 4 p.m. Eastern Time, followed by a conference call at 5 p.m. Eastern. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Balaji Krishnamurthy, Chief Operating Officer Steve Buhaly and Chief Financial Officer Scott Hildebrandt will conduct the call.

An audio feed of the conference call will be accessible through a link in the investor information section of the company's Web site, www.planar.com, or through numerous investor-oriented Web sites. A replay of the webcast will be available through Jan. 31.
