Pittsburgh airport to install universal check-in kiosks

USA Today: Pittsburgh International Airport will install its first one-size-fits-all kiosks this summer, allowing passengers from any airline to bypass ticket counters and print boarding passes from ATM-like machines in the terminal.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority on Friday approved paying ARINC of Annapolis, Md., up to $1.5 million in the next two years for the kiosks

"For the consumer, I think self-service is good," said American Airlines spokesman Billy Sanez.
