PieNetworks begins trial with Telstra

WESTERN AUSTRALIA - Internet kiosk company pieNetworks Ltd announced in a press release that it is taking part in a trial of its kiosks with Telstra Corp Ltd.

The 10-week trial will assess the performance of 10 "pieLink" kiosks operating in hotels, train stations, shopping centers, caravan parks and a mine site. The company's coin-operated kiosks offer customers self-service high-speed Internet access, text messaging and e-mail facilities.

PieNetworks will be joined on the trial by technology company SMS Management & Technology Ltd. SMS will provide the technology platform to support the trial.
