Physician Micro Systems integrates Instant Medical History

SEATTLE - Physician Micro Systems Inc., the creator of Practice Partner electronic health records, practice management and computerized physician order entry software, and Primetime Medical Software Inc., maker of the Instant Medical History patient interview application, have announced in a news release that they have integrated Instant Medical History with Practice Partner Patient Records. Using Instant Medical History, a patient can enter his or her complete present illness, review of systems, and medical history information prior to the patient visit - either over the Web or using a waiting room kiosk. Instant Medical History summarizes this information and automatically begins a progress note in the patient chart in Practice Partner Patient Records. The physician can then open the patient's electronic health record, review the patient-entered information, and complete the documentation for the encounter.
