Phoenix Kiosk goes to the Olympics

February 16, 2010

Phoenix Kiosk Inc., which develops hardware and software for self-service and interactive kiosk applications, has kiosks present at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, according to a company release.

The kiosk hardware was purchased by multiple Phoenix Kiosk clients and is being used with a variety of software applications. The kiosks are primarily being used as informational units that allow end-users to obtain status updates related to the Olympic Games.

"Phoenix Kiosk has provided products for Fortune 500 companies and for many major events, but we are elated to provide products for use at the Vancouver Olympics," Phoenix Kiosk CEO Alan Work said. "Our kiosk models have a sleek, sophisticated look, and they are compact, which is a necessity for well-attended events that require efficient use of floor space."
