Philippine telecom deploys bill payment kiosks

PLDT Inc., a telecommunications provider in thePhilippines, and its wireless arm Smart Communications Inc. have introduced self-service payment kiosks in several stores to allow customers to pay phone bills and internet bills conveniently, according to a msn.com report.

The Paybox kiosks accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, PayMaya QR codes and virtual payments.

Customers will also be able to buy prepaid load, make corporate bill payments and update accounts at the kiosks.
