Pharmacy partners aim to inform customers

PORTLAND, Ore.--Online beauty and pharmacy company drugstore.com will integrate healthcare content from Healthnotes Inc. onto its Web site. Healthnotes is a provider of health and lifestyle information for in-store touchscreen kiosk, Internet and multi-channel initiatives.

The partnership will help consumers further research their health and nutrition questions as part of the buying process. The information provided is science based, but consumer friendly, according to a news release.

In addition to the integrated Healthnotes service, the drugstore.com site will offer consumers access to Healthnotes Newswire and Healthnotes Newsletter. Healthnotes Newswire is a weekly news service that features physician-authored articles reviewing and analyzing the latest studies on healthy living and self-care.
