PGA Tour will feature kiosks, digital displays

TROY, Mich. - McGill Digital Solutions announced in a news release that it has partnered with several leading PGA Tour events across the U.S. and Canada to deliver XLie, a network of interactive kiosks designed specifically for professional golf events.

McGill Digital Solutions' XLie product will use the latest large-format interactive plasma screens to deliver real-time news, scoring and video highlights. The high-impact screens will feature a wealth of specialized information to keep fans up to speed on fast-paced developments. Other content includes:

  • Detailed player profiles and scorecards
  • Daily pairings and tee times
  • Tournament schedule of events
  • Interactive course maps
  • Promotional messages from corporate XLie sponsors

"McGill Digital Solutions is excited to introduce XLie. This product allows event organizers to deliver real time news and information to PGA Tour fans and provides our sponsors with a unique platform to present their messages," said Greg Sullivan, vice president of client solutions for McGill. XLie will be deployed at tournaments across the U.S., starting with the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando, Fla.
