Pennsylvania town installs parking kiosks with more payment options

The city Carlisle, Pennsylvania has launched parking kiosks that use the Pay by Plate system to offer several ways to pay for parking, according to a Fox 43 report.

Customers can use the kiosks to pay for parking with coins or credit cards. They can also download the Flowbird app to pay via mobile in addition to the Pay by Text option. All the payment methods will require the customer to have their license plate number available for record.

"Our finance and public works staff have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure the kiosks are ready to go," the news outlet quoted from a Cumberland County borough's Facebook post.
