Pennsylvania may pull plug on wine kiosk experiment

August 9, 2011

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pennsylvania may soon be putting a cork in its experiment with wine-vending kiosks.

The state's Liquor Control Board claims that the kiosk provider owes the state close to $1 million, and, while the contractor disputes that, the board said that if the dispute isn't resolved in the next 45 days it will "cease all kiosk operations."
