Pennsylvania county installs self-serve kiosk for paying court costs

The York County, Pennsylvania Clerk of Courts has installed a kiosk in its lobby to make it easier for people to pay court costs, fines and restitution owed in Common Pleas Court cases, according to a York Dispatch report. The costs and fines lobby is on the first floor of the York County Judicial Center, at the corner of Philadelphia and North George streets.

The kiosk will be available 24 hours a day and will take cash or credit cards. Users will pay a 3% fee for cash payments and 3.5% for credit card or debit card payments.

The kiosk will also accept payments for the commissary accounts or phone services of county prison inmates.
