Pennsylvania borough installs parking kiosks

Electronic parking kiosks have been installed in the borough of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and are expected to be fully functioning within the next week, according to WNEP-TV.

The seven downtown kiosks accept credit cards, bills and cash. Motorists can also use a mobile app called Whoosh! to add time to their meter.

Borough officials are still deciding how long to allow motorists to park.
