Peerless-AV teams with Valmont Industries on smart city kiosks

Peerless-AV, a manufacturer of kiosks and audiovisual products, has teamed with Valmont Industries Inc., a provider of agriculture industry technology, to provide outdoor smart city kiosks, according to a press release.

The Smart City Kiosk features a 55-inch outdoor display with HD1080p resolution. Even when placed in direct sunlight, the screen offers a bright and crisp picture.

Dual-sided smart city kiosks are also available.

"Digital signage kiosks are just one piece of the smart city puzzle," Brian McClimans, VP sales, North America and Asia Pacific at Peerless-AV, said in the press release. "Communication has changed and is continuing to change rapidly. Thanks to Innovative Sales Solutions we are partnering with Valmont to ensure communication is considered at the ground level of smart infrastructure development, making it easier to scale solutions that actually work for the people they are designed to serve."
