PayStar opens East Coast office

LODI, Calif. - Seeking visibility at both ends of the U.S., Internet kiosk and wireless banking provider PayStar Corp. (OTCBB:PYST) on Oct. 18 announced the opening of a satellite office in Baltimore.

Heading the office is John Shin, vice president of operations for PayStar's kiosk division. Shin joined the company on Oct. 1 after PayStar purchased all 200 Internet kiosk owned by Shin's Baltimore-based iCatcher Network Inc. (See story: PayStar completes on deal, cancels another).

In a news release, the company said its Baltimore office would focus on the acquisition, conversion, and deployment of Internet kiosks.
