Payment solution points Floridians to the future

Payment solution provider Point & Pay today announced that Florida's Orange County Tax Collector's Office will use the company's products to provide its electronic tax and fee payment systems for County residents.

The Point & Pay solution enables residents to use credit cards, debit cards and electronic checks to pay property taxes, vehicle tags, utility bills, titles and drivers' licenses, according to the news release. The Tampa, Fla.-based company serves 24 other tax collection offices throughout the state.

Orange County Tax Collector Scott Randolph said the deployment helps prepare his community for the future by offering anytime access to information, while also providing a service that makes a difference for families.

"Point & Pay delivered a state-of-the-art, customized system, enabling our citizens to pay by credit card — whether they prefer to make a walk-in or kiosk payment at our office, or use the Web, telephone or mobile application."
