Pasadena's water and power department plans to add more EV charging stations throughout the city in response to car buyers looking to reduce pollution, conserve energy and save cost, according to a pasadenanow.com report.
The stations will be installed at shopping plazas, fire stations, the police department, a park and a public garage.
Evan Johnson of the department recently told the city's municipal services committee that the city has applied for grants for the charging stations.
The city currently has 421 EV charging stations.
