Partech unveils web-based safety monitoring for temperature, power loss

Partech Inc., a provider of point-of-sale and workforce efficiency technologies for retail and restaurants, has released PAR IoT, a cloud-based system that provides real-time disruption alerts related to temperature changes and loss of power.

The technology includes sensors for systems monitoring kitchens, serving areas, storage areas and similar spaces. Each Par IoT gateway contains up to 100 sensors, according to the firm.

The system can be monitored from anywhere via the web or with mobile apps running on Android or iOS platforms.
