Panasonic introduces cloud deployment services

Panasonic has introduced its Toughbook cloud deployment services, allowing remote, cloud-based provisioning of end-user devices, according to a press release.

The service gives IT administrators the ability to automatically provision new devices from the cloud to the end-user, enabling end users to complete the initial PC set-up process without the need for hands-on IT support.

Features include:

• Operating system provisioning at start-up via the cloud.
• Corporate approved software loaded with no unsanctioned software.
• Cloud-based registration for each Toughbook computer.
• Ability to deliver a specific build of Windows and Android operating systems.
