PANAMA CITY, Panama--Copa Airlines has introduced wireless application protocol technology (WAP) for worldwide access to schedule information for all of its flights, through cell phones, self-service check-in stations and PDAs.

Customers can access wap.copaair.com to confirm flight itineraries and arrange on-time arrival to airport terminals, according to a press release.

"We are certain this efficient, new service will be beneficial to our customers."

Copa Airlines has a strategic alliance with Continental Airlines, participating in its frequent-flyer program, OnePass. The airline expects to transport 1.4 million passengers in 2004.
