Pakistan bank installs self-serve banking kiosk

Bank Alfalah Limited, a Pakistan bank, has installed self-serve banking kiosks, according to 4-traders, a financial services firm. The IntellekT kiosks allow people to open a digital wallet powered by a UnionPay debit card.

The kiosks use self service, video assisted technology and biometric authentication for customer validation. The kiosks offer banking services, credit cards, PIN activation, fund transfers, bill payments and more.

The kiosks will allow customers to open mobile wallets. They will also support both financial and non-financial transactions at remote, non-branch locations.
