Pa. health providers evaluate use of kiosks for patient efficiency

The (Allentown, Pa.) Morning Call: Hospitals, doctor's offices and health centers in Allentown are evaluating self-service kiosks, citing increased efficiency and reduced wait times as the main reasons for the review. While Pocono Health System is evaluating the technology, Lehigh Valley Physician Group, an affiliate of the region's largest healthcare system, Lehigh Valley Health and Hospital Network, has launched a pilot program using kiosks in two of its practices.
