Ottonomy teams with Harbor Lockers on mobile delivery locker

Ottonomy, a provider of autonomous delivery robots, has teamed with Harbor Lockers to introduce its Ottobot Locker, according to a press release. Harbor Lockers, a division of Luxer One Ventures, is a public locker network where businesses can deliver, store and pick up items.
Ottobot Locker runs on the Harbor Lockers' app ecosystem and adds mobility for first and last mile delivery. The partnership is backed by a strategic investment from Luxor One's parent company, Assa Abloy Opening Solutions, a technology company specializing in contactless pick-up and drop-off for packages and goods.
"Integrating first and last-mile options with autonomous robots is paving the way for the future of logistics," Arik Levy, general partner at Locker One Ventures, said in the press release. "With this investment and partnership, we are excited to be at the forefront of creating a new standard for contactless customer service."
