Oregon park to test cashless payment kiosk

Feb. 9, 2018

Lane County Parks is installing a kiosk at Mt. Pisgah in Eugene, Oregon, that will no longer take cash in the interest of reducing thefts and offering greater convenience to park users, according to KEZI-TV.

The park will test the kiosk for three months and decide whether to expand it to other parks.

The change begins Wednesday Feb. 14. Cash will be accepted at the Arboretum office through the end of the month.
