Ontario pharmacies test virtual health care kiosks

UniDoc Health, a Canada based provider of a health care kiosk, has partnered with OnPharm-United, an Ontario organization of independent pharmacies, to test its virtual care technology in three pharmacies, according to a press release.

UniDoc's kiosk acts as a remote health clinic that enables real-time, remote doctor and patient engagement with full diagnostic capabilities, replacing the need for a walk-in clinic visit.

UniDoc will train employees of any OnPharm-United member pharmacy in which a virtual care solutions kiosk is placed to ensure trained staff are available to assist kiosk users.

Pharmacies located in Wallaceburg, Scarborough and Etobicoke will be testing the kiosks.
