SAN DIEGO — A brochure-dispensing kiosk has patents pending by real estate software company Onsite Agent.
According to a news release, the kiosk's first application is for residential homebuilders and is named Onsite Agent. The kiosk is placed in a homebuilder's model home sales office. The prospective homebuyer registers his information on the kiosk and answers specific questions about his needs. After successful registration, the kiosk door is released, providing the prospective buyer with the homebuilder's brochure. This subsequently commences the Onsite Agent customer relationship management, automated feedback and follow-up Web-based software service for the real estate agent selling the homes.
The company holds the patents pending for any kiosk system, whereby a user registers and then has pre-printed information dispensed or by any means given access to pre-printed materials, no matter the type of mechanism. Onsite Agent also has patents pending for its registration and receipt process; when a real estate agent brings a prospective buyer into the model sales office, he registers his agent information and a receipt is printed and e-mailed to the agent. This ensures that the real estate agent earns commission if the buyer purchases a home from the builder.
