BLACKWOOD, N.J. - Metrologic Instruments, Inc., providers of imaging and barcode scanning solutions for a variety of applications, announced in a news release that Omniplanar, Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary which specializes in imaging software, and Code Corporation have extended their current supply agreement. Under the arrangement, Code Corporation will offer its customers a new suite of product options for barcode recognition, across its entire line of advanced imaging based barcode readers.
"The Code Corporation was an early adopter of Omniplanar products, and we are pleased to participate in the success of their business," said Garrett Russell, general manager of Omniplanar. "Our new agreement enhances our market position to take advantage of the growth of imaging-based platforms into both traditional linear barcode applications and
the new, rapidly growing market for two-dimensional symbologies."
