Olea Kiosks launches hospital check-in kiosk

The kiosk is designed specifically as a health care check-in solution. It is adjustable up to 10 inches and is designed to be HIPAA and ADA compliant.

Olea Kiosks Inc. has announced the launch of its new Verona Healthcare Kiosk. It is designed as an adjustable turn-key check-in solution, according to the press release.

The Verona uses Capacitive Touch technology to make its 19-inch touchscreen accurate and able to capture screen signatures. It also integrates duplex ID scanners, EMV compliant payment devices and printers. The Verona can also connect to major healthcare databases including Epic, PatientWorks, Siemens and McKesson, according to therelease.

The Verona is designed to be adjustable by 10-inches, with users able to adjust the height of the kiosk by pressing a button. All the kiosk components are also designed to be adjustable to address the needs of all users. The kiosk also has an extended front console for users in wheelchairs, and is designed to accommodate both sitting and standing users to comply with ADA regulations.

Users can also order optional components for the Verona including a barcode scanner, web camera, Wi-Fi adapter and audio headphone jack, according to the release. The Verona is designed for easy maintenance since all components can be accessed through the front of the unit.

The Verona is available for purchase now, and Olea will be showcasing the kiosk at this year's HIMSS health care IT trade show, Feb. 29 - March 4 in Las Vegas.
