Oklahoma town introduces kayak rental kiosk

Ponca City, Oklahoma has teamed with Phillips 66 to offer a self-serve kayak rental kiosk at Lake Ponca, south of the swim beach on Checkstand Road, according to a poncacitynow.com report.

The kiosk is available from dawn to dusk, seven days a week during the rental season.

Renters follow the steps on the kiosk vendor's smartphone app to select and remove one of the kayaks from the kiosk. Each rental includes a personal flotation device and a paddle.

Once the renter has finished using the kayak, they return it to the kiosk
