Ohio town replaces parking meters with kiosks

Motorists in East Franklinton, Columbus, Ohio are now being served by four parking kiosks which have replaced parking meters. In addition to the kiosks, motorists can also pay using the ParkColumbus app, according to a report in The Columbus Dispatch.

Parking rates are 50 cents an hour west of McDowell Street with no time limit. Rates east of McDowell are $1 an hour for the first three hours, then increasing by 50 cents an hour every two hours for a maximum of $12 hours.
