Zanesville, Ohio residents can pay utility bills at a kiosk across from Secrest Auditorium downtown, according to a Times Recorder report.
While the kiosk was installed earlier this year to reduce person-to-person contact during the COVID-19 pandemic, city officials view the kiosk as a convenient bill payment option.
Users can pay by credit card or cash. The machine does not give change, but will credit a cash overpayment to the next month's bill.
The city is working with software companies to allow residents to pay for permits or court fees.
